The Coastal Museum of South Trøndelag consists of 4 places to visit: Our main museum in Fillan, the Sandstad Terminal and the cultural heritage sites Hemnskjela and Dolm.

  • Children under 16 years: Free

Opening Hours

The Coastal Museum in Fillan and Sandstad Terminal is open all year round. For more information about how to visit, click on the place you want to visit. 

Our main museum in Fillan

Here you find our visitor centre and our two major exhibitions: "The People of Flatvika" and "The Russian Shipwreck". The museum also houses a gallery, museum shop and Hitra Tourist Information.

Sandstad Terminal

At Sandstad Terminal you can visit our Aquaculture exhibition. Sandstad is also the starting point of our guided tours to a fish farm.
