Aquaculture in real life

There is no better place to learn about Norwegian aquaculture than by the cages out at sea, where it all happens. We take you out in a boat to visit a fully operated fish farm where you get a closer look at salmon farming. You can even stand by the cages and watch the salmon jump.

The tour takes about 1.5 hours and is suitable for all ages. The visitors have to be able to enter an open boat and climb a small ladder at the fish farm. The youngest visitor so far was 2.5 years old and the oldest 87 years old. We require a minimum of 4 people, and the maximum capacity is 12 people. The boat departs from the Sandstad Terminal, which is within a short distance of the fish farm.

We offer guiding in Norwegian and English.
